Description
UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME, Notre Dame, IN. Appointment to begin Fall Semester 2027. Rank: Assistant Professor (tenure-track). AOS: Early Modern. AOC: Open. Standard teaching load in the department is 2:1 (3 classes per academic year). Duties include teaching, research, and service. Salary competitive. Semester system.
Qualifications
Candidates at the entry level must have completed all requirements for a Ph.D. degree or have completed all but dissertation in Philosophy. Candidates at the advanced assistant level must have a Ph.D. in Philosophy.
Application Instructions
Candidates are asked to submit a full dossier, including CV, writing sample, research statement, teaching dossier, 4 reference letters (3 research and 1 teaching), and a brief cover letter. Applications should be submitted by October 15, 2026.
