Hiring Pay Range: $127,920.00 - $198,575.52 per year
    • The hiring pay range for this position is commensurate with the level of relevant experience and education.

Summary
  • Step into a pivotal leadership role at the intersection of technology, risk, and governance. As Senior IT Governance officer, you will help safeguard and strengthen the foundation that enables ANB Bank to innovate responsibly. This senior-level role is designed for a leader who thrives on building structure, clarity, and confidence across complex technology and risk environments. In this role, you will shape and sustain the governance frameworks that allow the bank to adopt new technologies-like artificial intelligence, cloud services, and digital solutions-while maintaining strong controls, regulatory alignment, and operational resilience. You will oversee and mature critical programs including AI governance, IT risk management, vendor management, and business continuity and disaster recovery, ensuring these disciplines evolve alongside the bank's growth and innovation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Create, maintain, and continuously improve the bank's IT governance frameworks, policies, and oversight practices.
  • Establish, maintain, and oversee AI and AI governance programs, including ongoing monitoring, adjustment, and alignment with regulatory, ethical, and risk management expectations.
  • Complete and maintain enterprise IT risk assessments, including ongoing review and updates to IT asset risk assessments.
  • Lead and oversee technology risk assessments as new solutions or services are introduced.
  • Oversee and further develop the vendor management function, including governance, risk assessment processes, monitoring practices, and ongoing program maturity.
  • Partner with business units, technology teams, risk management, compliance, and legal stakeholders to ensure consistent and effective third-party risk management.
  • Oversee and mature the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) program, including governance, testing practices, documentation, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure technology and operational risk programs are well-documented, repeatable, and aligned with regulatory expectations and internal risk appetite.
  • Provide oversight and guidance on additional governance, risk, and control processes that naturally align with IT and operational risk management.
  • Support executive and board-level reporting related to IT governance, AI governance, vendor risk, and business continuity readiness.
  • Monitor emerging regulatory guidance, industry practices, and technology trends to proactively adjust governance and risk management approaches.
  • Ensure consistent compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements, banking regulations, and internal policies relevant to the role.

Education and/or Experience
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in IT governance, technology risk management, information security, compliance, or related disciplines, preferably within financial services.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining governance, risk, or control frameworks.
  • Experience with AI, cloud, vendor risk, and business continuity programs strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Risk Management, or a related discipline; or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant certifications (CISA, CRISC, CISSP, PMP, CBCP or similar) preferred.
