Manager of Radiology Services
Role Overview
Southwoods Health is seeking a Manager of Radiology Services. This leadership role is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive radiology plans across Southwoods Health facilities. The manager will ensure all imaging operations align with organizational objectives and maintain our high standards of patient care.
Essential Duties
  • Regulatory Compliance: Enforce radiology care standards to meet all ODH, TJC, and ARRT regulatory and accreditation guidelines.
  • Staff Leadership: Manage scheduling, daily productivity, time-off requests, payroll approval, and performance evaluations for technical staff.
  • Operational Alignment: Collaborate closely with the Radiology Director to balance volume demands and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Fiscal Management: Analyze financial reports, manage resource allocation, promote cost-effective initiatives, and support the capital budget process.
  • Patient Advocacy: Protect patient rights, maintain confidentiality, and ensure strict adherence to information privacy protocols.

Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of healthcare management experience, with a strong preference for radiology environments.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Active certification through the ARRT, ARDMS, or NMTCB, alongside a current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification.
  • Technical Skills: High computer literacy, including proficiency with PACS and Electronic Medical Records (EMR), preferably Meditech.
