Job description

Responsibilities:
  • Work with the Director of Admissions to administer admissions standards to achieve targets through a team of admissions representatives.
  • Participate in the implementation of student recruitment strategies and the management of resources in order to meet performance expectations
  • Provide on-going coaching and motivation of admissions representatives to achieve objectives by providing tools that encourage individual and team development as well as revenue and profit growth.
  • Handle all phases of the admissions process and responsible for generating prospective student enrollments
  • Along with the Director of Admissions, participates in the development and execution of both short-term and long-term student recruitment strategies at the Campus level.
  • Organize orientation seminars, open houses, and student award days.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities which include the following: planning, assigning, and directing work of subordinates; appraising their performances; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • Mandatory attendance at semi-annual graduation

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in related field and minimum two years of Admissions or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
People Responsibilities:
Directly supervises employees in the Admissions Department and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Physical Environment:
  • Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment
  • Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at a desk or computer terminal
  • Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone and other office equipment
  • Stooping, bending twisting, and reaching may be required
  • Some work may be completed in classroom or shop environment
