Job description

Kingdom Care is actively hiring an Assistant Director of Nursing to support clinical leadership and daily nursing operations. The Assistant Director of Nursing partners closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and staff development. As the Assistant Director of Nursing, you will provide hands-on leadership, assist with daily clinical operations, and help ensure excellent outcomes for residents and staff.

Schedule and Employment Type

  • Primary schedule: Full-Time Days (8AM - 4:30PM) | Monday - Friday

  • Rotating on-call responsibilities required

  • Schedule flexibility required to assist with open shifts and staff call-ins as needed

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily nursing operations as the Assistant Director of Nursing

  • Partner with the Director of Nursing to maintain high standards of resident care

  • Assist with staffing, scheduling, and clinical oversight

  • Monitor regulatory compliance, quality measures, and infection control practices

  • Support staff orientation, education, competencies, and performance improvement initiatives

  • Serve as a clinical resource and provide leadership to the nursing team

  • Assist with resident assessments, care planning, and clinical documentation as needed

  • Provide floor support and help cover staffing needs when necessary

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing

  • Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred

  • Strong clinical judgment, leadership, and organizational skills

  • Ability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule

  • Flexibility to adjust schedule to meet resident care and staffing needs
