About This Role

Kiddie Academy of Rocky Hill is an early childhood education center dedicated to providing high-quality, developmentally appropriate care and learning experiences for young children. The academy focuses on nurturing the whole child through a balance of academic, social, emotional, and physical development. Families are supported through consistent communication, safe and engaging classrooms, and a structured curriculum designed to prepare children for future academic success. What You'll Do

Kiddie Academy of Rocky Hill is looking for an full-time Assistant Director. This role supports the Center Director in overseeing daily operations, including supervising/managing staff, ensuring classroom coverage, and maintaining compliance with state licensing and academy policies. The Assistant Director will help manage enrollment, conduct tours for prospective families, and serve as a primary point of contact for parent inquiries and concerns. Daily responsibilities include supporting curriculum implementation, monitoring child safety and well-being, coordinating schedules, and assisting with staff training and performance feedback. The role also involves maintaining documentation, overseeing health and safety procedures, and contributing to a positive, professional culture for children, families, and team members.


Requirements
  • Experience in early childhood education or childcare administration, with a strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate curriculum.
  • Leadership and team management skills, including the ability to supervise staff, provide coaching, and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle scheduling, documentation, and day-to-day center operations.
