Job Title: Clerk- Data Processing (High School)
Wage/Hour Status: Non-Exempt
Reports to: Principal
Pay Grade: Clerical Pay 3
Dept. /School: OHS or PHS
Days: 227
Supervises:
Primary Purpose: To assist other school personnel in maintaining accurate student records.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited HS or GED Program
Special Knowledge Skills:
  • Skill as a typist
  • Computer knowledge
Experience:
  • Data entry experience (preferred)
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Data entry for the master schedule
  • Maintaining the data entry accuracy of the master schedule
  • Assist in developing forms/plans for educational planning
  • Entering staff into the district-grade reporting software
  • Maintaining the accuracy of staff in the grade reporting software
  • Assist with balancing reports and keying updates.
  • Assist in maintaining student records
  • Assist with the accuracy of date entry for PEIMS
  • Willing to keep updated with technology
  • Review and maintain teacher grade reports for completeness and prepare for grade processing
  • Keep work on schedule with published due dates.
  • Review data and make corrections where needed.
  • Maintain files/correspondence for Principal & Associate Principals
  • Answer questions asked by teachers and other school personnel relating to data processing
  • Distribute reports, instructional and other materials as they relate to data processing.
  • Pull records on students for special programs as directed.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Principal and/or Associate Principals
