Overview

B3H Corporation is seeking highly experienced Senior Instructor to provide instruction, course execution, and course development support to the 705 TRS for government-led maintenance and execution of 505 TTG courses. For the 705 TRS this currently includes course management/support for advanced air operations training in the Command and Control Warrior Advanced Course (C2WAC), Lead Wing C2 Course (LWC2C), and the Air Force Forces (AFFOR) Intermediate Staff Course (AISC).ย The audiences are select joint and coalition personnel in that will be assigned to Air Force Component Headquarters (AFCHQ) and subordinate Wings to perform critical command and control and joint planning duties.

Responsibilities
  • Provide and/or coordinate all academic instruction as directed by the Course Director, Course Manager, and course syllabus, including, but not limited to lectures, practical exercises, small group events and guided discussions.
  • Course Instruction (depends on assignment and needs of the 705 TRS):ย 
  • Review and update C2WAC, LWC2C, and AISC academic and practical exercise modules to incorporate the most current processes and procedures utilized by air component staff supporting the Commander, Air Force Forces (COMAFFOR), Air Operation Center (AOC) leadership, and C2 force element positions at the Wing.
  • Provide curriculum instruction and lead practical exercises employing/supporting the Joint Planning Process for Air (JPPA) and the Air Tasking Cycle (ATC). Provide expertise at command and control and operational-level exercises around the world.
  • Support senior-level courses for lessons related to their specific area of expertise.
  • Prepare classrooms for instruction
  • Operate academic equipment (i.e., projectors, televisions, computer learning stations, etc.)
  • Issue required student courseware (Student Guides, handouts, approved changes, etc) required for course attendance to include maintaining student folders as required
  • Ensure course materials are current prior to each instruction event
  • Develop, review, and respond to end-of-phase and end-of-course critiques of academic instruction. Coordinate all critiques IAW the governing syllabus. Coordinate all student comments and courseware corrections, to include errata sheets, with the Government prior to use in the classroom. Provide completed critiques/student's comments to the course manager for review.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive graduate evaluation plan used to determine academic instruction effectiveness, based on students feedback gained during practical field Falconer experience.
  • Assist with maintaining continuity folders, reference material, audiovisual library, films, tapes and lesson courseware.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally accredited university or college.
  • Current Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • At least one year of experience within the past 5 years in an AFCHQ or similarly qualified instructor.
  • Held position commensurate with that of an O-4 to O-6 and served as either a Team/Branch Chief or higher.
  • Possess a minimum of 10 years of Department of Defense military experience. Must have demonstrated the ability to instruct in a military environment; it is preferred to have at least 1 year of platform instruction.
  • Held a position and experience supporting one of the following areas, AOC strategy division, AOC combat plans division, AOC combat operations division, AOC intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance division, AFFOR staff (A2, A3, or A5), Non-kinetic Operations team.
  • Demonstrated experience and personal expertise in multi-domain operations, joint planning, and the air tasking cycle.
  • Experience with operational-level air, or space, or cyber warfare, both generally and in specific functional and/or positional area.
  • Ability to travel to various locations within and outside the continental United States (CONUS) in performance of the tasks.
  • At least 3 years of AFCHQ experience, be post-2016 graduate of C2WAC and/or ACSTOPC, have participated in at least two Tier-1 operational-level exercises, been an APG/OPG/OPT lead, graduate of 13O IST or USAFWS (or equivalent WIC), graduate of rank- appropriate military PME, and/or have experience developing formal military courses.
  • Preferred experience in operational-level planning; for example, a former Battlefield Coordination Detachment (BCD) or Naval Liaison Element (NALE) member,
  • Preferred experience in Fighter/Bomber aircrew, Offensive Cyber Operations, Ground Force SME (Air Defense Artillery, Battlefield Coord Detachment, or Joint Air-Ground Integration).ย
