Job description

Overview

Practice Manager - Progressive Endodontics

We are looking for a motivated, people-focused Practice Manager to lead the daily operations of our growing endodontic practice. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced dental professional who enjoys building strong teams, creating exceptional patient experiences, and keeping a fast-paced specialty practice running smoothly.

Our Practice Manager will be the operational heartbeat of the officeโ€”supporting the doctors, developing the team, strengthening referral relationships, and ensuring every patient feels cared for from the first phone call through follow-up.

The right person is energetic, organized, solutions-driven, and comfortable balancing compassionate patient care with the business needs of the practice. If you lead with positivity, take ownership, and believe that great systems and great culture go hand in hand, we would love to meet you.

Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday 8am-4pm

Responsibilities
  • Lead, support, and motivate the practice team while creating a positive, accountable, and collaborative work environment.
  • Oversee daily practice operations and ensure the office runs efficiently, professionally, and on schedule.
  • Manage the patient experience from initial contact through treatment and follow-up.
  • Partner with the doctors and clinical team to maintain productive schedules and smooth patient flow.
  • Proactively address schedule openings, cancellations, referral follow-up, and opportunities to help more patients receive needed care.
  • Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and develop team members.
  • Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and address performance concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor practice performance, including production, collections, case acceptance, scheduling, staffing, expenses, and other key performance indicators.
  • Support insurance verification, billing, collections, accounts receivable, and financial processes.
  • Maintain strong relationships with referring dental offices and support practice marketing and referral-growth initiatives.
  • Ensure patient calls, referral communications, records, and clinical information are handled accurately and promptly.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, OSHA, HIPAA, infection-control standards, and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Identify challenges early, develop solutions, and take ownership of follow-through.
  • Communicate practice updates, risks, staffing needs, and opportunities clearly to doctors and operational leadership.
  • Celebrate team wins, recognize great performance, and continuously look for ways to make the practice better.

Qualifications
  • Previous dental practice management or dental leadership experience strongly preferred.
  • Specialty dental experience, particularly endodontic experience, is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of dental office operations, scheduling, insurance, collections, patient communication, and team leadership.
  • Proven ability to lead a team, delegate effectively, and hold employees accountable with professionalism and respect.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to see both the patient-care and business sides of the practice.
  • Confident using dental practice management software, Microsoft Office, email, and other office technology.
  • Able to handle sensitive employee and patient information with discretion.
  • Positive, dependable, proactive, and committed to delivering an outstanding patient experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

We Offer

  • Competitive Compensation
  • Benefits Package: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Flexible Spending Accounts, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays and much more!
