Summary 

The Dining Supervisor plays a key leadership role in delivering an exceptional dining experience for every guest. This position blends hands-on culinary and service work with team leadership, operational oversight, and customer engagement. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and is passionate about food, service, and developing people. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead, train, and coach support staff to ensure consistent service excellence and operational standards. 
  • Oversee daily operations of multiple food stations, including deli, pizza, and grill, ensuring quality, efficiency, and presentation. 
  • Work hands-on alongside team members, assisting with food preparation, cooking, inventory management, and maintaining clean, organized workspaces. 
  • Manage POS transactions, cash drawers, and related office and administrative tasks accurately and efficiently. 
  • Maintain café cleanliness and ensure full compliance with company safety, sanitation, and food handling protocols. 
  • Serve as a welcoming, guest-facing presence—engaging daily with customers and providing friendly, professional, and solution-oriented service. 
  • Support a positive team culture that promotes accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. 

Qualifications 

  • 1–2 years of culinary experience or experience in a supervisory or leadership role within food service or hospitality. 
  • Knowledge of food safety standards; ServSafe certification strongly recommended. 
  • Proficiency with POS systems and basic Microsoft Office programs. 
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including varying shifts as needed. 
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a hands-on leadership style.
