Resicum International LLC is seeking experienced Aircraft Mechanic II - APG/Crew Chiefs to support the KC-135 Contractor Field Team (CFT) Support Services program. This is a full-time position based at Fairchild AFB, Washington, with travel to CONUS and OCONUS TDY locations as mission requirements dictate, and is contingent upon contract award.

The Aircraft Mechanic II - APG/Crew Chief is responsible for performing Organizational, Intermediate, and Depot-Level (O/I/D) maintenance on KC-135 aircraft to ensure aircraft are safe, mission capable, and ready to support worldwide operations. This position performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, component replacement, servicing, and operational testing in accordance with U.S. Air Force Technical Orders, maintenance procedures, and contractual requirements.

The successful candidate will support aircraft launch and recovery operations, perform pre-flight, post-flight, thru-flight, and isochronal inspections, and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, flight control, and related aircraft systems. Working as part of a Contractor Field Team, the Aircraft Mechanic II - APG/Crew Chief plays a critical role in maintaining aircraft readiness while ensuring compliance with quality assurance standards, safety requirements, tool accountability, and Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Organizational, Intermediate, and Depot-Level maintenance on KC-135 aircraft. 
  • Conduct pre-flight, post-flight, thru-flight, isochronal, scheduled, and unscheduled inspections. 
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain aircraft systems and components in accordance with U.S. Air Force Technical Orders. 
  • Remove, install, service, lubricate, adjust, and operationally test aircraft components and systems. 
  • Perform functional checks to verify aircraft airworthiness and mission readiness. 
  • Support aircraft launch, recovery, servicing, and mission generation activities. 
  • Interpret technical orders, maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, and maintenance publications. 
  • Accurately document maintenance actions in aircraft forms and maintenance records. 
  • Maintain compliance with quality assurance standards, tool accountability, Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention, and workplace safety programs. 
  • Coordinate with maintenance leadership and fellow technicians to ensure timely completion of maintenance requirements. 
  • Support CONUS and OCONUS deployments in support of Contractor Field Team mission requirements. 

This position offers the opportunity to apply your aircraft maintenance expertise while supporting critical KC-135 operations and contributing to the readiness of U.S. Air Force aircraft worldwide. Employment is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

  • This position is contingent upon contract award. 
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in aircraft maintenance is preferred. 
  • Minimum three (3) years of aircraft maintenance experience on a U.S. Air Force wide-body aircraft (KC-135 preferred) or equivalent military aircraft. 
  • Thorough knowledge of Organizational, Intermediate, and Depot-Level (O/I/D) aircraft maintenance procedures. 
  • Demonstrated experience performing scheduled, unscheduled, and inspection maintenance on military aircraft. 
  • Proficiency performing pre-flight, post-flight, thru-flight, isochronal, and other required aircraft inspections. 
  • Experience troubleshooting, repairing, removing, installing, servicing, lubricating, and operationally testing aircraft systems and components. 
  • Working knowledge of aircraft mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, flight control, landing gear, and propulsion systems. 
  • Proficiency interpreting U.S. Air Force Technical Orders (TOs), maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, and technical publications. 
  • Experience completing aircraft maintenance documentation accurately in accordance with Air Force standards. 
  • Knowledge of maintenance quality assurance, tool accountability, Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention, and workplace safety procedures. 
  • Ability to support aircraft launch, recovery, servicing, and mission generation operations. 
  • Strong organizational, communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a multidisciplinary maintenance team. 
  • Current Secret Security Clearance required. 
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate preferred. 
  • Previous KC-135 Crew Chief or Assistant Dedicated Crew Chief experience preferred. 
  • Previous experience supporting U.S. Air Force field maintenance, depot maintenance, Contractor Field Team (CFT) operations, or Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) programs preferred. 
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid U.S. passport. 
  • Must be willing and able to travel to Fairchild AFB, Washington, and worldwide CONUS/OCONUS TDY locations in support of mission requirements. 
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all customer-required clearances and successfully meet all company, customer, and U.S. Government pre-employment requirements.
