Job Title: Data and Configuration Manager Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US * * * The Opportunity: CACI is seeking an individual that is organized, detail-oriented, and a multi-tasker interested in a long-term career providing Data Management and Configuration Management services for our V-Department customers located in Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD). In this role, you'll be providing these services for the Navy's Aegis Weapon Systems (AWS) and other Naval Combat systems. Responsibilities: Data Management responsibilities and tasking are as follows: • Manage and maintain 250+ TB of space on the NSWCDD classified network (cRDTE) across multiple network share drives.
• Move data received via electronic transfer methods and shipped physical media to the applicable network share drive on the cRDTE network.
• Send data via electronic transfer methods and physical media transfer method (transmittal generation) to other Naval and Contractor facilities.
• Archive data from the cRDTE network to LTO media.
• Restore data from LTO media to the cRDTE network. • Document and log all data management tasking daily utilizing Microsoft Excel.
• Report the receipt of Integrated Product Team (IPT) test event data weekly on our customer's Confluence website.
• Track customer's missing data requests via emails or our customers Confluence website.
• Generate monthly reports of all data management tasking and accomplishments.
• Update the Data Management Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
• Communicate effectively and appropriately with our Navy customers.
• Recommend data model and visualizations improvements. Configuration Management responsibilities and tasking are as follows: • Create Patch Version Requests (PVRs) for Aegis Baseline (B/L) 5.X Common Display System (CDS) elements.
• Create Master Ship List (MSL)/Airways/CEC TCD version requests and media trackers quarterly for various Aegis B/Ls.
• Respond to NSWCDD's Software Product Management (SPM) Notification of Build emails with the applicable B/L 5.X CDS element versions and applicable MSL/Airways/CEC TCD versions for various Aegis B/Ls.
• Download, extract, and manage source code for Aegis programs.
• Download, extract, and install Aegis program data dictionaries into a data analysis tool suite.
• Attend weekly SPM Build Prep meetings every Monday. Secondary Responsibilities May Include: • Assist with generating Data Recording User Manual Recording.
• Primitive Data Structure analysis/data dictionary updating in programming languages C, Ada, and CMS-2.
• Provide Data Recording support in Aegis combat system laboratories.
• Travel to Navy facilities for analysis tool installation. Qualifications: Required: • DoD Secret clearance must be obtainable and maintainable.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Sciences, OR equivalent years of specific Aegis Combat Systems experience.
• Willing to work in a team environment and independently.
• Willing to travel to other Navy/DoD Facilities occasionally. Desired: • Experience with RedHat Linux or similar.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Products.
• Experience with Confluence.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
