Overview

Apogee has an opportunity for a Journeymen Configuration/Data Manager supporting AFLCMC at Wright-Patterson AFB. This position provides configuration management and data management support for acquisition programs.

This is a full time position located at Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio.

Responsibilities
  • Apply knowledge of configuration management fundamentalsย 
  • Establish andย maintainย consistency of product's performance with requirementsย 
  • Analyze impacts of configuration management change process on lifecycle sustainmentย 
  • Develop and manage all CDRL requirementsย 
  • Participateย in Government reviews/meetings/working groupsย 
  • Assistย in developing CCB charter and execute CCBsย 
  • Review/develop/update program documentation for CM/DM requirementsย 
  • Review program-unique specifications for complianceย 
  • Process requests for nomenclature and CPINsย 
  • Support configuration control function for ECPs, CCPs, RFD/RFW, DRsย 
  • Review change proposals for thoroughness and CM impactsย 
  • Prepare and conduct CCBs and business management boardsย 
  • Plan/implement FCAs and PCAsย 
  • Review and evaluate contractor proposals for configuration statusย 
  • Maintain configuration status accounting databasesย 
  • Assistย data users with DID selection and tailoringย 
  • Support data calls and data reviewsย 
  • Prepare and maintain CDRLs for RFPs and contractsย 
  • Support DR function operation in JDRSย 
  • Provide CM/DM research, analyses, studies, and documentationย 
Qualifications

Minimum Experience:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizenย Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret level clearanceEducation:High School diploma or GEDย 

Years of Experience: 4 years of CM/DM experience, 2 years in DoD

  • Knowledge of configuration management processes and toolsย 
  • Experience with CDRL development and managementย 
  • Understanding of FAR/DFARS data rights clausesย 
  • Proficiencyย in CM databases and toolsย 
  • Strong analytical skillsย 
  • Excellent attention to detailย 
  • Good communicationย skillsย
