Job description

Job Summary: The Business Analyst is a data-driven, detail-oriented individual who translates complex data into actionable insights that drive revenue growth, optimize ticket pricing, enhance marketing performance, and generate new leads for premium seating, events, and sponsorship opportunities. This role is instrumental in supporting the organizationโ€™s efforts to better understand consumer behavior, market trends, and sales performance across all revenue channels.

Areas of Responsibilities:
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from ticketing systems, CRM tools, and marketing platforms to identify trends in consumer demographics, ticket sales, and event performance.
  • Develop pricing models and recommendations to maximize revenue for concerts, sports, and special events.
  • Partner with marketing and sales teams to segment audiences, refine target markets, and evaluate campaign effectiveness.
  • Create dashboards and regular reports summarizing KPIs, leadgeneration performance, and sales conversion rates.
  • Support sponsorship and premium sales teams by identifying potential corporate clients, industry sectors, and geographic markets.
  • Conduct competitive pricing and market analysis to inform strategic decisions and promotional strategies.
  • Assist finance team with budget forecasting for events.
  • Present findings and insights clearly to stakeholders at all levels, from executives to onsite operations teams.
  • Collaborate crossfunctionally with marketing, ticketing, operations, and finance to align data insights with organizational goals.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 24 years of experience in business analysis, revenue management, or data analytics (sports, entertainment, or venue management preferred).
  • Proven experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis (SQL or Python experience a plus).
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills with the ability to tell a story through data.
  • Comfortable working in a fastpaced environment with multiple concurrent projects.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with ticketing platforms (e.g. Ticketmaster, SeatGeek, or similar).
  • Understanding of sports and event industry metrics, such as attendance, yield, and percapita spend.
  • Experience using CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Ability to forecast revenue scenarios and model the impact of pricing or marketing
  • changes. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and Google Workspace. Ability to prioritize workload for timely completion of important tasks. Ability to create professional business correspondence and presentations that tell a story.
