As a Data & Technology Assistant at Utah Valley University, you'll have the opportunity to build valuable technical and analytical skills while contributing to initiatives that support student success and institutional effectiveness. Working under the guidance of a Systems Analyst, you'll gain hands-on experience managing and troubleshooting widely used technology platforms, including Qualtrics, Handshake, and ModernCampus CMS. In this position, you'll play an important role in collecting, analyzing, and reporting office data, helping department leaders make informed decisions and improve services. Summary of Responsibilities
  • Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting technological platforms (Qualtrics, Handshake, ModernCampus CMS).
  • Engage in data collection, analysis, and reporting of office statistics.
  • Track and compile various metrics such as student appointments, surveys, evaluations, classroom presentations, event participation, recruiting activities, and observation reports,
  • Participate in on-campus fairs and other events.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications
Graduation from an accredited institution with an associate's degree; OR any combination of education and/or full-time experience related to the Summary of Duties totaling two years.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Knowledge
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML.
  • Familiarity with the Handshake user experience.
  • Experience with Qualtrics survey design.
Skills
