Job Summary:
The Clinical Research Assistant is responsible for study coordination, data management, and regulatory submissions of assigned clinical research studies. The Clinical Research Assistant helps with safeguarding the rights of study participants, and provides general operational and administrative support as needed for the proper conduct of clinical research studies.
This position is best suited for candidates who are highly organized, thrive in a deadline-driven environment, enjoy coordinating multiple complex projects, and have a genuine interest in clinical research and healthcare data. Job Essentials
  • Manages data required to ensure compliance with all Clinical Research Center, Englewood Health, State, and Federal regulations related to research. Completes accurate and legible documentation including source documents and case report forms. Maintains data in a confidential manner
  • Assists investigators and Clinical Research Coordinators with obtaining informed consent, coordinating patient research schedules, and adhering to study protocols
  • Prepares and submits Institutional Review Board documents for approval. Maintains files for approved studies to include: initial approvals, stamped consents, annual renewals, revisions to approved projects, safety reports, etc.
  • Under the direction of the Investigator and Director, coordinates the implementation of clinical research protocols
  • Screens patients for protocol eligibilty and monitors enrollment goals. Oversees subject registrations and external Sponsors. Registers all enrollment subjects with the Clinical Research Center. Notifies Englewood Health staff of necessary research billing information

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Previous experience supporting clinical research, healthcare, public health, life sciences, or research administration
  • Familiarity with clinical research databases, documents, and clinical practice guidelines
  • Detail-oriented to coordinate studies and maintain accurate study documentation
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Effective problem-solving and communication skills

Englewood Health job postings provide a minimum rate to comply with New Jersey Law. The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation. In addition to the minimum rate, eligible employees may receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other wellness resources.
