Job description

Job Title: Cyber Security Program Manager

Location: Houston, TX or Dallas, TX (Hybrid/Onsite Preferred)

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Program Manager to lead enterprise-wide cybersecurity initiatives and drive the successful execution of critical security programs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale cybersecurity projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and delivering complex initiatives across IT infrastructure, security, and vendor organizations.

This role requires a strong background in program management, cybersecurity operations, risk management, and executive-level stakeholder communication.

 Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end execution of enterprise cybersecurity programs and workstreams.
  • Develop and manage integrated project plans, milestones, dependencies, and RAID logs.
  • Monitor project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and quality to ensure successful delivery.
  • Coordinate activities across Cybersecurity, IT Infrastructure, Network Security, Identity Management, vendors, and business stakeholders.
  • Drive weekly project meetings, executive status reporting, and issue resolution.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies while proactively escalating critical issues.
  • Support governance, compliance, audit readiness, and remediation validation activities.
  • Manage platform integration efforts and coordinate dependencies across multiple teams.
  • Translate technical cybersecurity initiatives into business-friendly updates for executive leadership.
  • Ensure successful delivery of vulnerability management, detection and response, identity security, and infrastructure security initiatives.
 Required Skills
  • Strong experience managing enterprise cybersecurity programs and large multi-workstream initiatives.
  • Expertise in project planning, dependency management, risk management, and stakeholder communication.

  • Working knowledge of network security and firewall concepts.
  • Experience coordinating platform integrations with IT, networking, and external vendors.
  • Knowledge of governance, risk, compliance, audit preparation, and remediation processes.
  • Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

 Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in Program or Project Management.
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale enterprise cybersecurity programs.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity environments.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • PMP Certification required.
 Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in large, matrixed enterprise IT organizations.
  • Strong background in cybersecurity governance, compliance, and infrastructure security initiatives.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and third-party vendors.
