Residential Construction Superintendent | Custom Homes

Build Exceptional Homes in One of Georgia's Most Desirable Communities

We are conducting a confidential search for an experienced Residential Construction Superintendent to join an established, family-owned custom home builder known for exceptional craftsmanship, quality, and attention to detail.

This is a hands-on, boots-on-the-ground construction role for someone who knows how to build a home from the ground up.

We're looking for a builder — someone who wants to be on the job site, walking projects, managing trades, solving problems, checking quality, driving schedules, and making sure the job is being built the right way.

This is not production homebuilding, and this isn't a desk-based construction management position.

You'll take ownership of a limited number of high-end, complex custom homes, managing each project from site development through final homeowner delivery.

What You'll Do
  • Run custom homes from site development and foundation through final completion
  • Own the day-to-day field execution of your projects
  • Manage subcontractors, trades, vendors, suppliers, and field personnel
  • Drive schedules and keep projects moving
  • Review plans, specifications, and construction details
  • Oversee grading, drainage, foundations, framing, roofing, windows, waterproofing, MEP, and high-end finishes
  • Inspect work throughout construction and maintain exceptional quality standards
  • Identify and solve field issues before they impact schedule or quality
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, designers, and ownership
  • Maintain organized, professional job sites
  • Manage punch lists and final homeowner turnover
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout the build
We're Looking for a Builder

Your title isn't as important as your ability to actually build.

You may currently be a:

Residential Superintendent | Construction Superintendent | Senior Superintendent | Custom Home Superintendent | Lead Builder | Custom Home Builder | Residential Project Manager | Construction Manager

We're looking for someone who can walk onto a job site, understand exactly what's happening, recognize what isn't right, and know what needs to happen next.

Your experience should include:

  • Ground-up residential construction
  • Site work, grading, drainage, and foundations
  • Framing and structural construction
  • Roofing, windows, waterproofing, and exterior systems
  • Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing
  • Construction sequencing and scheduling
  • Subcontractor and trade management
  • High-end finishes and architectural details
  • Quality control, punch, and final delivery
The Right Person

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in residential construction, preferably custom or luxury homes
  • Hands-on and highly comfortable in the field
  • Credible with experienced subcontractors and trades
  • Strong at scheduling and keeping projects moving
  • Detail-oriented about craftsmanship and quality
  • Comfortable reading plans and solving construction problems
  • Professional enough to work directly with sophisticated homeowners
  • Accountable, collaborative, and low ego
  • Looking for a long-term opportunity with the right company
Compensation & Location

$150,000-$200,000 total compensation, depending on experience and overall fit.

The position is located in a highly desirable community outside the Atlanta market.

For candidates currently living in metro Atlanta, this is not a practical daily commute, and relocation closer to the area will likely be necessary.

For someone open to making a move, this is an opportunity to live and work in one of Georgia's most desirable communities while building exceptional custom homes.

Long-Term Opportunity

You’ll work directly with ownership and have significant autonomy and responsibility in the field.

The owners are looking for someone they can trust with their projects today and potentially build around for the future.

For the right individual, there is a real long-term path toward increased leadership and potential future ownership/partnership.
