Position Summary:
ProShares is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Content Marketing Specialist to support the development, coordination, and review of marketing content across the organization. In this role, you'll help move content through the full editorial and approval process, working closely with members of the Content Marketing team, internal subject matter experts, compliance, and other key stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent attention to detail, sound editorial judgment, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment. Copy editing experience is a plus, as is experience working in a content, editorial, marketing, or financial services environment.

What You'll Be Responsible For[1]:
  • Content Coordination: Support the day-to-day management of content marketing projects, helping ensure materials move efficiently through drafting, editing, review, approval, and publication.
  • Editorial Support: Assist with reviewing, proofreading, formatting, and copy editing a range of marketing materials, including articles, emails, web content, presentations, product-related materials, and other investor communications.
  • Process Management: Track content deliverables, deadlines, stakeholder feedback, and approvals to help ensure projects remain organized and on schedule.
  • Compliance Review Support: Help prepare and submit materials for compliance review, coordinate revisions, track comments, and ensure final materials are approved before use.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with members of marketing, investment strategy, product, compliance, legal, sales, and other internal partners to support content development and execution.
  • Content Maintenance: Assist with updating existing materials to reflect current messaging, data, regulatory requirements, and brand standards.
  • Quality Control: Review materials for accuracy, consistency, grammar, style, formatting, and alignment with ProShares' brand voice and editorial standards.
  • Workflow and Documentation: Help maintain project trackers, editorial calendars, content inventories, and related documentation to support transparency and accountability across the content process.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in content marketing, editorial, communications, marketing, or a related field, ideally in financial services, asset management, or another regulated industry.
  • Experience supporting content development, editorial workflows, project coordination, or marketing review processes preferred.
  • Copy editing, proofreading, or editorial experience is a plus.

Success at ProShares:

  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to review materials for grammar, accuracy, consistency, formatting, and brand alignment.

  • Familiarity with content management, project management, or workflow tools such as Asana, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms is a plus.

The compensation for this position includes salary and incentive pay. The annual base salary range for this role is $65,000-$80,000 (USD), which does not include discretionary bonus compensation.
