Position: Full-Time, Live-Out Family Assistant / Cook
Schedule: MondayFriday, 10:30 AM6:30 PM, plus occasional overnight coverage
Salary: $130,000$150,000/year DOE

About the Family
A private family in Park City is seeking an experienced, proactive Family Assistant / Cook to help keep their home running smoothly. This hybrid role combines family cooking, household management, light housekeeping, errands, and calm support for two neurodivergent teenagers. The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-directed, able to anticipate the family's needs, and comfortable balancing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced household.
- Children: Two neurodivergent teenagers
- Home: 5,500 sq. ft.
- Pets: Dog
- Household Staff: Weekly deep cleaners
Responsibilities
Family Cooking
- Prepare daily family meals, school lunches, and dinner
- Plan menus, grocery shop, and accommodate dietary needs and food sensitivities
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and fully stocked
Teen Support
- Provide calm, respectful support to two neurodivergent teenagers
- Help maintain routines, transitions, and a structured, low-stress environment
- Build trust while respecting their independence, routines, and boundaries
Household Management
- Keep the home clean, organized, and running efficiently
- Handle laundry, linens, daily housekeeping, and household resets
- Run errands, grocery shop, stock household supplies, coordinate vendors, and manage appointments
- Proactively identify what needs to be done each day, prioritize tasks, and adjust as priorities change
- Successfully multitask and manage multiple household responsibilities while maintaining high standards
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is proactive, trustworthy, calm, and highly organized. They are the type of person who naturally sees what needs to be done without waiting to be asked, can prioritize competing tasks, and enjoys keeping a busy household running smoothly. They have experience working with teenagersparticularly neurodivergent teensand know how to build trust while respecting their independence. Strong communication skills, flexibility, sound judgment, and a long-term mindset are essential.
Requirements
- Experience supporting neurodivergent teenagers in a private setting
- Prior experience working with teenagers with the ability to build trust over time
- Strong family cooking skills with experience accommodating allergies/preferences
- Valid driver's license and confidence driving in snow and winter conditions
