Job description

Summary of the position: Monitors and manages student’s behavior in the cafeteria and the cafeteria when students are having lunch. Helps keep the dining area clean and pleasant for students. Performs any tasks assigned by the Cafeteria Manager, Nutrition and wellness Coordinator, and Building Principal Qualifications: Demonstrate aptitude and/or abilities for performing the tasks required. High school diploma or the equivalent. Supervises: N/A Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

● Monitor students in the dining area

● Manage student behavior

● Assist students as needed

● Assist in the cafeteria where needed

● Clean tables, etc. in the dining area

● Help clean up between and after serving period

● Performs other duties as assigned by the Cafeteria Manager, Nutrition and wellness Coordinator, and Building Principal PHYSICAL DEMANDS/SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS: Must be able to lift 40 lbs. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
