Be part of something exciting from the very beginning! We are now accepting applications for our management team as we prepare to open our new corporate-owned Waco, Texas location later this year. If you're a motivated leader who enjoys building teams, creating memorable guest experiences, and helping launch new restaurants, we'd love to hear from you. Selected managers will begin training in late fall in preparation for the restaurant's opening.

Pizza Ranch is a fast-casual restaurant that specializes in signature pizzas & The Country's Best Chicken, fresh salads, desserts, and convenient delivery and take-out options. In 2006, we leveled up the experience by introducing FunZone Arcades-in-restaurant entertainment featuring the latest games and prize redemption. Since then, we've been on a rapid expansion path with more than 220 locations across 15 states, and many of them now feature FunZone Arcades.

Responsibilities:

At Pizza Ranch, we believe that our management team is a vital part of what makes our business successful. As an Assistant Manager, you will assist the General Manager in leading the day-to-day operations and work alongside team members to give every guest a legendary experience. Assistant Managers support operations across Front of House, Back of House, and FunZone. While all Assistant Managers are fully cross trained to work in each area, they may primarily be scheduled in one area based on strengths and business needs. At Pizza Ranch, you will have the ability to drive store level profitability and sales goals by controlling food and labor costs. Most importantly, you will have the opportunity to provide genuine care for all our staff and guests and to create a legendary impact on those you encounter during your shift.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Oversee daily operations and guest satisfaction in the restaurant and FunZone
  • Assist with the training and development of new and existing team members
  • Maintain high food quality and safety standards
  • Maintain high-quality guest service standards
  • Provide Cravable Food and lead staff to do the same
  • Provide Legendary guest service and lead staff to do the same
  • Build Community Engagement by partnering with other organizations and businesses
  • Respond to guest complaints quickly and resolve them effectively
  • Minimize game downtime by ensuring completion of necessary maintenance and service
  • Ensure maintenance and cleanliness of the overall appearance of the FunZone and games
  • Merchandising and inventory control of Redemption Center
  • Order and manage party supplies and redemption inventory
  • Ensure that the restaurant follows all Pizza Ranch standards every shift
  • Reports to the General Manager

Qualifications, Skills, and/or Competencies:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Restaurant experience required
  • Passion for leading and developing people
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to prioritize multiple situations
  • Effective communicator and listener with good oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in basic computer skills
  • Ability to be mobile and/or on your feet for extended periods of time during the entire shift
