Assistant Controller - Up to $80k/annually DOE!


This position is a direct hire opportunity!


Integrity Trade Services is hiring an Assistant Controller for our manufacturing client to start immediately at up to $80k/annually DOE! Receive comprehensive benefits through out client upon hire!


Responsibilities:

The Assistant Controller will oversee and guide the companyโ€™s accounting functions and financial operations.

  • Develops, maintains, and documents accounting policies and procedures; establishes internal controls to reduce risk associated with accounting transactions.
  • Oversees the preparation of recurring financial reports and ensures results are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) or applicable national and international financial reporting standards.
  • Recommends performance benchmarks to evaluate the companyโ€™s financial and operational results.
  • Prepares and manages the annual budget and financial forecasts; communicates material budget variances to management.
  • Conducts financial analysis, particularly related to capital investments, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
  • Leads tax-planning efforts throughout the fiscal year.
  • Reviews and audits accounts to ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations; coordinates with external auditors and supplies information required for additional audits.
  • Collaborates with external auditors and provides all necessary documentation and information for the annual audit.
  • Ensures adherence to local, state, and federal reporting and compliance requirements.
  • Ensures all financial statements are produced accurately and on schedule.
  • Directs the Accounting Department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, billing and collections, bank reconciliations, and payroll oversight.
  • Manages staff development by overseeing training initiatives and identifying ongoing training needs.
  • Performs other related responsibilities as assigned or needed.

Schedule/Shift Details: First Shift, Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM


Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required.
  • CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Strong leadership, management, and supervisory abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency with accounting and tax-preparation software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or comparable software.
