Assistant Controller - Manufacturing

We're partnering with a global industry-leading manufacturer to hire an Assistant Controller. This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys partnering with leadership, improving processes, and working in a complex manufacturing environment. The role offers strong visibility across finance and operations with opportunities to influence key business decisions.


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Support the Controller in leading day-to-day accounting operations
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close, financial reporting, and GAAP compliance
  • Drive process improvements across accounting systems and ERP functions
  • Partner with FP&A, Treasury, AP, AR, and operational teams
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting
  • Coordinate external audits and strengthen internal controls
  • Mentor and develop accounting staff while helping build a high-performing team


What They're Looking For:

  • CPA required (or actively completing CPA exams)
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 4-6+ years of accounting experience with a mix of public accounting and industry preferred
  • Manufacturing experience strongly preferred; candidates from other complex inventory/cost accounting environments will also be considered
  • Strong background in cost accounting, inventory accounting, financial reporting, and audit support
