We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead our accounting operations and provide strategic financial oversight for our growing organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys building efficient accounting processes, delivering accurate financial reporting, and partnering with leadership to support business growth.

As the Controller, you will oversee the day-to-day accounting functions, ensure compliance with financial regulations, improve internal controls, and provide meaningful financial insights that help drive informed business decisions.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and manage all accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, and Financial Reporting.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and minimize financial risk.
  • Prepare and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Create, update, and distribute financial and managerial reports to company leadership.
  • Monitor budgets, analyze budget-to-actual performance, and communicate significant variances to management.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations related to capital investments, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
  • Coordinate annual audits and collaborate with external auditors by providing required financial documentation.
  • Prepare and file quarterly and annual financial reports with appropriate government agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal financial regulations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, operational efficiency, and financial reporting.
  • Perform additional accounting and finance responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Required
  • Strong understanding of debits and credits, revenue recognition, and accrual versus cash accounting.
