Well-established and growing Kansas City company is looking for an Assistant Controller to add to their staff.

The Assistant Controller will be responsible for a variety of duties that include:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements
  • Journal entries
  • Reconcile accounts for monthly and annual closing
  • Assist with preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Help with the annual audit
  • Review accounting information and resolve any inaccuracies
  • Work closely with the Controller on special projects

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in accounting required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required
  • Experience in public accounting a plus
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel
