Job description

Position Summary
The Remedy Mental Health is seeking a full-time Marketing Specialist to support day-to-day marketing execution across our growing mental health clinics in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and South Dakota.
This is a hands-on role that will work closely with the Director of Marketing to support website content, content-focused SEO, social media, email marketing, design projects, campaign materials, community outreach, and marketing coordination.
The ideal candidate is a strong writer, creative thinker, organized project manager, and eager learner who is excited to grow their marketing skills in a healthcare setting. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys variety and wants to build experience across multiple areas of marketing.
Key Responsibilities
  • Write, edit, and update website content, keeping it accurate and up-to-date.
  • Support content-focused SEO efforts, including keyword research, SEO titles, meta descriptions, image alt text, internal linking, and keyword-informed copy.
  • Maintain accurate information across the online platforms and directories.
  • Assist with basic performance tracking using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, website dashboards, and other reporting tools.
  • Create and update branded marketing materials using canva and Adobe Express such as flyers, brochures, signage, and other print and digital collateral.
  • Help ensure all materials are consistent with The Remedy's brand, tone, and visual identity.
  • Work with outside vendors, print partners, or marketing partners as needed to prepare and finalize materials.
  • Draft, design, and schedule social media content across platforms.
  • Help maintain and create the marketing calendar and ensure content is planned, organized, and completed on time.
  • Support community outreach efforts for The Remedy's clinic locations in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and South Dakota.
  • Help research local partnership opportunities, community events, referral outreach targets, and location-specific visibility opportunities.
  • Support reputation and review-related marketing efforts with thoughtful, professional, and compliant language.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or business
  • 2-4 years of experience in marketing, communications, digital marketing, content marketing, design, community outreach, or a related role.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Basic understanding of SEO best practices and how to write clear, search-friendly content.
  • Experience creating content for websites, social media, email, print materials, or marketing campaigns.
  • Basic design skills and comfort creating marketing materials in Canva, Adobe Express, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with WordPress, Elementor, HubSpot, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Meta Business Suite, or similar tools preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Comfortable taking direction, receiving feedback, and learning new skills.
  • Ability to write and create content in a clear, compassionate, patient-centered tone.
  • Strong judgment and professionalism when working with healthcare, mental health, and other sensitive topics.

Preferred Experience
  • Healthcare, mental health, behavioral health, or regulated-industry marketing experience.
  • Experience supporting community outreach, referral marketing, events, or local partnerships.
