Legends Global has excellent and immediate openings for part-time Operations Crew members with Legends Global Knoxville at the Knoxville Civic Auditorium and Coliseum. The Operations Crew members reports to the Operations Manager and provides vital general labor, help with Conversions of the facility to prepare for events, and assist with general cleaning/maintenance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Assists with Requisition Conversions for events.
  • Follows directions of supervisors; sets up and breaks down stages, seating, tables, ramps, etc.
  • Assists with fixing seats, ground clean up, snow removal, etc.
  • Performs cleaning and housekeeping duties as assigned.
  • Follow all safety precautions and emergency procedures established at the facility.
  • Reports any safety and damage concerns to the Supervisor and Manager.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Operational knowledge of tools and equipment preferred.
  • Experience operating a forklift, scissor lift or other similar heavy machinery preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other basic computer skills preferred.

Skills and Abilities
  • Must have the ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal business hours.
  • Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons and others encountered in the course of employment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills necessary.
    Must be able to work in a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision.
  • Desire to work hard to produce consistent, quality results.
  • Must have ability to take/follow directions and remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur.
  • Must be able to meet company standards on criminal background screening.
  • Valid license is preferred.

  • The employee must frequently move and/or lift 30 50 lbs. (some heavier lifts are team lifts).
  • May have some exposure to adverse conditions (inside and outside of the building).
  • Must be able to hear and speak to use a two-way radio.
