Job description

Multimedia Content Producer / Live Poker GFX
Champions Group | Houston, TX
Role Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Adrian Nguyen

About Champions

As a major player in the gaming and hospitality industries across California, Florida, and now Texas, we're expanding our reach in the Texas market with a mission to redefine the entertainment landscape. Driven by innovation and corporate excellence, our team thrives on curiosity, strategic vision, and a commitment to integrity, quality, and good judgment. Company culture at Champions is of the utmost importance to us. We seek individuals who view the world through a lens of unlimited possibilities, and who value people above everything else.

About the Role

Champions Club Texas is looking for a hands-on, versatile Multimedia Content Producer to support our live poker productions and drive content creation across our Houston and Dallas properties. This role spans the full production cycle — from pre-production through post — while also producing the short-form social and digital content that extends the Champions brand beyond the poker room. The ideal candidate is creative, reliable, and comfortable in a fast-moving live production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Live Production

  • Support all phases of live poker production including pre-production, broadcast, and post-production with a primary focus on live poker graphics
  • Assist with control room and on-floor operations including camera operation, audio, graphics, and general production support
  • Prepare player fact sheets, production notes, and graphics assets ahead of broadcasts
  • Assist with mic'ing players and setting up production environments before showtime

Content Creation

  • Produce short-form and long-form content promoting the poker room, its players, and major events
  • Create social-native highlight clips, player interviews, skits, memes, and engaging formats in collaboration with the marketing team
  • Identify and execute content opportunities that drive awareness, engagement, and audience growth
  • Stay current on social trends and bring ideas that fit the Champions Club Texas brand

Post-Production & Asset Management

  • Create clips and edits from live content for social and internal distribution
  • Organize, tag, and maintain production assets for easy access and reuse
  • Ensure timely delivery of content across all channels

On-Camera & Collaboration

  • Appear on camera as needed for interviews, skits, and social content
  • Participate in commentary or analysis for poker productions when appropriate
  • Partner with the Creative Producer and Marketing Manager to align content with the broader strategy

Qualifications

  • Experience in video production across pre-production, production, and post-production
  • Familiarity with live or broadcast production environments preferred
  • Proficiency in editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, OBS, vMix, or similar
  • Strong understanding of social content formats and digital distribution
  • Comfortable on camera and contributing as on-screen talent or commentator
  • Highly organized with strong communication and follow-through
  • Poker knowledge preferred but not required — willingness to learn the game and audience is a must
  • Portfolio, reel, or examples of previous work required

Schedule & Logistics

Primarily based in Houston, TX with support in Dallas as needed. Must be available for live production schedules including evenings, weekends, tournaments, and special events.

Compensation

Pay starts at $25 an hour based on experience.

For Your Wellness

  • Competitive salary with bonus opportunity
  • Comprehensive benefits package including a flexible medical plan with customizable options
  • Paid time off
  • 401(k) with company matching
  • Employee assistance and wellness program
