Job description

AMLI Residential is currently hiring a professional, servicedriven Concierge to join our luxury community at AMLI River North. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on delivering exceptional customer service and enjoys being the goto resource for residents in a fastpaced, urban environment. The Concierge provides highlevel assistance to residents and guests, ensuring a welcoming experience while supporting daytoday service needs. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and expert knowledge of local services, vendors, and amenities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build rapport with residents and respond to requests in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner
  • Research, coordinate, and schedule resident services, including:
    • Grocery delivery and relocation services
    • Vehicle services (repair, washes, appointments)
    • Dry cleaning pickup/delivery
    • TV setup, wall mounting, and home services
    • Transportation accommodations (airport transfers, rentals, taxis, limousines)
  • Make reservations and arrangements for:
    • Restaurants, events, and game tickets
    • Floral orders
    • Vet, kennel, and travel accommodations
  • Manage amenity and penthouse reservations
  • Receive and coordinate package deliveries (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
  • Manage the Luxer package system, including daily audits
  • Develop and distribute a daily resident newsletter
  • Maintain uptodate merchant, vendor, and service contact lists
  • Coordinate with the onsite property management team to resolve requests and follow up on issues
  • Assist with special resident requests as needed

Additional Expectations

  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times
  • Participate in AMLI volunteer and community activities
  • Support other AMLI communities when needed

Schedule

  • Fulltime, 40 hours per week
  • Tuesday - Saturday schedule

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of customer service experience required
  • Previous concierge or hospitality experience strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of the local area, services, merchants, and attractions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet research
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
  • Occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds or more
  • Ability to use standard office equipment and computer systems
