Position Information

Job Title - PT Lab Assistant-Computer Programming (Pool)

Position Status - Part Time

Classification Title - Part-Time Lab Assistant-Up to 17 hpw

Work Location - Main Campus-3600 N. Garfield, Midland, TX

Job Summary - Assist student with assignments, maintain computers and equipment.

Required Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalentComputer literacy including knowledge of programming languages, databases and Microsoft Office softwareAbility to manage multiple tasks while providing close attention to detailAbility to adapt to a constantly changing environmentAbility to move or lift/move up to 30 pounds

Preferred Qualifications - Computer Programming major

Essential Functions - Assist students with assignmentsProctor examsMaintain professional teaching environmentIncrease overall course evaluation ratingsMaintain a clean and safe working and learning areaOther duties as assigned

Physical Demands - Ability to see and hearAbility to communicate orally with students and employeesAbility to move or lift or move up to 30 poundsAbility to sit, stand, walk, and pull hands overhead
