Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Seasonal

Pay: $27.00 – $32.00 per hour


About the Job: At Exceptional Holiday Lighting, we are South Florida's premier outdoor lighting company, serving exclusive properties and communities from Jupiter to Key Biscayne.

As the Operations Manager Assistant, you will play a dynamic, hands-on role supporting day-to-day operations both in the warehouse and in the field. Beyond administrative coordination, this role requires getting on the ground to operate medium-duty equipment, manage tools, load and haul inventory, and keep our installation crews fully equipped, safe, and on schedule.


Key Responsibilities

  • Field & Equipment Operations: Safely operate medium-duty equipment (bucket trucks, aerial lifts, stake body trucks, and trailers) to transport materials and support elevated installations.
  • Tool & Inventory Management: Directly utilize, maintain, inspect, and manage a wide variety of power tools, hand tools, commercial-grade ladders, electrical testing equipment, and installation hardware.
  • Fleet & Logistics Support: Coordinate vehicle maintenance, inspect machinery before deployment, and troubleshoot minor field or tool issues on the fly.
  • Warehouse & Physical Staging: Handle heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs), organize warehouse stock, manage staging areas, and prep daily jobs for field crews.
  • Operations & Onboarding: Assist with recruiting, onboarding new hires, and managing crew schedules to maintain high team efficiency.
  • Crew Leadership & Disciplinary Measures: Actively supervise field operations, uphold quality and safety standards, address policy or performance violations, and execute appropriate employee disciplinary measures when necessary.
  • Light Mechanical Repairs: Occasional diagnostics and repairs across the fleet are necessary with ability to research and follow instructions with common tools.

  • Professionalism: Strong work ethic with a polished, professional appearance (we work in uniform).
