Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA / C.N.A.)  Per Diem

Opportunity of status change to Part time & Full time as available.

The Neville Center at Fresh Pond is a Joint Commission, American Healthcare Association Award-winning, short-term rehab, long term, and skilled nursing care community. We are conveniently located on the Cambridge/Belmont line. We are dedicated to our residents and team members- come join us!

We are seeking highly motivated and qualified part time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA / C.N.A.) to join our nursing department. 

The Neville Center at Fresh Pond is a Joint Commission, American Healthcare Association Silver Medal Award-winning, short-term rehab, long term, and skilled nursing care community. We are conveniently located in the Cambridge by the beautiful Fresh Pond Parkway. If you are looking for a fast pace, quality facility- then this is the job for you! The Neville Center at Fresh Pond is located in Cambridge, close to the Belmont line.


Hour rate for per diem / PRN:

$25 to $28 with shift differential.

As the Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) some of your essential job responsibilities include:

  • Provides care to participants as directed and as outlined in the plan of care.

  • Assists participants with activities of daily living and/or provide all necessary care for participants who are dependent.

  • Utilizes nursing assistant techniques to provide care to participants in a manner that promotes as much individual independence as possible. Such techniques include walking, transfer assistance, range of motion, eating, bathing, dressing and bed mobility.

  • Applies knowledge of infection control, fire and disaster policies as needed.

  • Participates in continuing education and meets the requirements for annual in-service participation.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS for the Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA):

  • A current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the Massachusetts.

  • Must be able to read, write and understand English. Other languages are helpful.

  • Has basic math skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
