POSITION OVERVIEW
The Assistant Club Manager supports the overall success of the club through daily operational leadership, programming execution, and member engagement. This role partners closely with the Club Manager to deliver a high-quality member experience while overseeing court programming, instructor coordination, and day-to-day club operations.
The Assistant Club Manager owns club programming, including clinics, leagues, open play, tournaments, and special events, while also driving private lesson revenue and new player development. This role serves as a key leader during daily club operations and provides consistent weekend coverage.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee daily club operations and deliver exceptional member service
  • Own all court programming including clinics, leagues, open play, tournaments, and special events
  • Manage instructor scheduling, coordination, and program quality
  • Drive private lesson revenue and new player development enrollment
  • Support membership sales, retention, and member follow-up efforts
  • Manage court schedules, bookings, and programming through PlaybyPoint
  • Monitor program performance and optimize offerings based on participation and feedback
  • Assist with staff scheduling, training completion, and daily team support
  • Maintain club cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness
  • Oversee ambassador relationships and support community engagement initiatives
  • Communicate regularly with members, coaches, franchise leadership, and corporate teams
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1–2 years of leadership, operations, or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, member-focused environment
  • Experience with programming, scheduling, or event coordination preferred
  • Comfortable learning and managing operational software systems
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of pickleball and player development is a plus
SCHEDULE EXPECTATIONS
  • Standard schedule includes Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
  • Approximately 30 hours per week dedicated to desk and operational coverage
  • Approximately 10 hours per week reserved for programming development, scheduling, and curriculum optimization
  • Availability for occasional events, tournaments, and operational needs as required
