Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Art Managers, and Directors to define and establish the character art style, developing character concept design templates and style guides.

  • Work closely with 3D character artists, animators, and VFX artists to ensure the successful implementation of designs into the game.

  • Utilize the game engine editor (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity) to adjust and finalize the in-game look and feel of characters.

  • Create high-quality character concept designs as part of the core design tasks.

  • Review, critique, and provide clear feedback on character designs submitted by outsourcing partners/vendors, guiding them to meet quality and style standards.

  • Mentor junior artists by creating training materials, sharing design experience, and fostering a collaborative and creative team environment.
