As a Channel-focused Senior Solutions Architect at Semperis based in the greater Chicago, Illinois area, you will be a key technical resource supporting our partner channel ecosystem in North America. Your primary mission is to drive the adoption of Semperis products within channel organizations such as CDW, Guidepoint, WWT, Ahead and regional partners like Alchemy, & Trace3, to strengthen our relationships with strategic channel partners.
You will collaborate closely with both external channel companies and the internal Semperis channel team to:
  • Grow Channel Relationships: Proactively engage with partner channel organizations to expand existing relationships, identify new opportunities, and advocate for Semperis solutions within their product and service offerings.
  • Enable Partner Success: Lead technical enablement activities for channel partners, including multi-day training exercises, hands-on labs, and lunch-and-learn sessions, ensuring partners are equipped to position and deploy Semperis products effectively.
  • Drive Channel Adoption: Work with partner technical teams to integrate Semperis solutions into their product stacks, deliver compelling product demonstrations, and support proof-of-concept installations tailored for channel-led opportunities.
  • Represent Semperis at Channel Events: Attend trade shows, partner summits, and other industry events as a technical ambassador for Semperis, presenting solutions and sharing best practices with partner audiences.
  • Collaborate Internally: Partner with the Semperis channel team to develop and refine channel enablement materials, share feedback from the field, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of our channel strategy.
  • Advocate for Semperis Adoption: Serve as a technical evangelist for Semperis products, working to ensure they are included in partner product stacks and solution offerings.
  • Support Channel Sales Efforts: Collaborate with partner account managers and sales teams to drive joint sales initiatives, respond to technical inquiries, and assist with complex solution design for partner-led opportunities.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Assist partner sales teams with technical qualification of opportunities, including discovery calls, requirements gathering, and solution mapping.
  • Hands on Technologist: Support partner-led proof-of-concept (POC) and pilot projects, ensuring successful outcomes and clear demonstration of Semperis value. Demonstrate extended tours of our full product portfolio. Provide rapid technical responses to partner inquiries, RFPs, and solution design requests.

Success in this role requires deep experience working within or alongside partner channel companies, a passion for technical enablement, and the ability to build trusted relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
What You'll Bring:
• Working and based in the greater Chicago Illinois area
• Demonstrated success in a channel-focused technical role, either within a partner company or as a vendor supporting channel partners
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple partner relationships, events, and enablement activities simultaneously
• Strong English language skills
• 5-10 years working in either an enterprise IT or enterprise software organization
• Deep working knowledge of Active Directory - you have administered, architected or managed an environment of at least 10,000 users
• Awareness of the identity and access management and infosec product landscapes, and technical features of competing products within the ecosystem
• Knowledge of Entra ID and Okta is a bonus, especially from the perspective of installation, architecture or administration
• Experience doing customer demos of software products
• Experience building technical proofs of concept directly with customers
• Ability to communicate with both business and technical contacts at customer to explain benefits of solution beyond just technical
• Bachelor's Degree in related field. CS, Economics, or Engineering is a plus, or other relevant technical degree or equivalent experience
• Preferred, but not required:
• Infosec experience
• Identity and Access Management experience
• Experience speaking and representing a company at public events
• Ability to travel frequently for partner meetings, trade shows, and training events (up to 50%).
