Hiring Immediately, Assistant Business Development Manager for Service Department

We are seeking an Assistant Business Development Manager for our client near the Hoosick, NY area.  Will be heading our team fielding customer requests for Sales and Service.  Sales are on the rise and our client needs a proven leader to drive growth.  You will be joining a dealership with an energetic service advisor team, skilled technicians, a motivated executive team with resources to help you succeed, and a fantastic community reputation.

REQUIREMENTS

Previous automotive experience is REQUIRED for this position. He or she must conduct themselves professionally, have strong computer, organizational, and time management skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  We are looking for someone who works hard, communicates clearly and is interested in a real career with long term potential, not just a job.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage a high volume of customer inquiries by phone, email, or text.
  • Be a liaison between customers and the sales and service department.
  • Answers all inbound profit center calls for sales, service and parts.
  • Contacts all no-shows to reschedule missed appointments.
  • Advises customers on special-order parts status, appointment reminders, and recall campaigns.
  • Lead the Business Development Center team who responds and nurtures internet sales leads that are submitted by customers while ensuring that the dealerships actualize profit potential on internet sales.
  • Ensures high quality, consistent, and professional communication with customers and prospects using the CRM, VinSolutions, call, text, and email functions, and leads their team to do the same.
  • Effectively lead communication with dealerships, the leadership team at said dealerships, and the Business Development Center team, acting as the bridge between the dealership and the customer.
  • Leads the Business Development Center team to direct customers to product information and resources, and stays up to date on new products, features, accessories, etc. and their benefit to customers to effectively assist customers in selecting a vehicle.
  • Works with the Senior Management team to establish goals and benchmarks for the Business Development Center team and gives feedback frequently to ensure said goals and benchmarks are being met.
