Job description

An Assistant Building Services Worker position involves performing custodial and maintenance duties to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of buildings, furniture, and fixtures. Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining floors, carpets, furniture, restrooms, and common areas; emptying trash; stocking supplies; and removing snow and ice from walkways. Work is carried out under general supervision across classrooms, offices and other campus facilities.

This is a Union position for which The Communications Workers of America has been designated as the exclusive representative.

We are actively hiringand have multiple positions available. This position involves shift work, and the shiftwill be selected for the employee based on University needs.

There are current vacancies available onthird shift, which runsSunday through Thursday from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Additionally, there aresecond shift opportunitiesavailable for this position.

Additional Position Information:

Assistant Building Services Worker - $15.00/hr., after one year $15.43/hr.+ Full Benefits + Pension & Paid Time Off.
