Compliance Specialist
Forest Area Federal Credit Union
Forest Area Federal Credit Union is seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Specialist to support our regulatory compliance program. This role works closely with the Compliance & BSA Officer to help ensure the credit union remains compliant with all applicable federal and state regulations while supporting internal teams with policy updates, compliance reviews, and regulatory guidance.
This is a great opportunity for someone with banking or credit union experience who wants to grow their career in regulatory compliance and risk management.
What You'll Do
  • Assist with reviewing and updating compliance policies and procedures
  • Monitor new and changing regulations and help implement required updates
  • Support internal compliance reviews and monitoring activities
  • Assist with investigating compliance concerns or complaints
  • Prepare reports related to compliance reviews, audits, and regulatory findings
  • Maintain documentation of compliance activities and regulatory reporting
  • Assist with employee training on compliance policies and regulatory updates
  • Support compliance with BSA/AML regulations and internal policies
What We're Looking For
  • 1-2 years of banking or credit union experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to interpret regulations and apply them to operational processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
  • Strong organization and time management skills
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
