Branch Manager - Taos| Location: 2400 Taos, Austin TX, 78745 | Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:45PM and rotating Saturdays: 8:45AM - 12:15PM | Salary Range: $60,000 - $73,000 |


Austin Telco is seeking a dynamic and service-driven Branch Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Taos (South Austin) branch. This role is ideal for a collaborative leader who thrives in a member-first environment and is passionate about developing staff, driving operational excellence, and building strong community relationships.


What You'll Do:

Branch Leadership & Member Experience

  • Lead daily branch operations and ensure a welcoming, service-driven environment
  • Build strong member relationships and advocate for financial literacy
  • Resolve complex member needs with professionalism, empathy, and sound judgment
  • Serve as a visible, engaged leader in the branch and community
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery across all member touchpoints

Team Coaching & Development

  • Attract, hire, coach, and develop a high-performing branch team
  • Provide daily guidance, feedback, and accountability to staff
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, member-focused culture
  • Support professional growth through training, mentoring, and performance management

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee branch operations including cash management, vault and ATM controls, security, and regulatory compliance

  • Protect members and the credit union from fraud, scams, and unlawful activity
  • Perform Notary and Medallion Signature Guarantee services as needed

Branch Network Support

  • Provide leadership coverage at nearby branches as needed

Requirements
