BRANCH OPERATIONS MANAGER
Promote, market, and facilitate the overall sale of products of the bank. Contribute to the bank's growth by the effective sale of bank services to new and existing customers with emphasis on courteous and professional service.
FLSA STATUS
This position is classified as Non-Exempt under the FLSA.
OVERVIEW:
The purpose of this position is to:
Responsible for management of all operational functions and ensuring compliance with all bank policies, procedures and regulations. Ensure controls are in place to minimize and prevent risk, liability and loss. Monitor branch efficiencies and ensure branch is performing to Management's expectations.
Responsible for management and development of branch staff. Including hiring, training, coaching (One on Ones), scheduling, supervision, counseling, evaluations, pay reviews and terminations.
Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly service to customers. Assist customers with their banking needs, answer any questions and resolve any problem situations in a quick, courteous and friendly manner, taking advantage of any sales or referral opportunities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for motivation of employees to make sales, cross-sales and referrals of bank products and services to new and existing customers, or otherwise participate in any other sales or marketing campaigns or initiatives to meet individual and branch goals, and overall bank goals and objectives and documentation of all activity in CRM.
Responsible for performing all teller and new account functions in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
Maintain the knowledge and job skills required to open, close, service and support all accounts, products and services offered by PointBank.
Maintain cash levels for the branch. Balance branch cash. Order/sell cash to/from Fed for the branch.
Responsible for all branch cash counts and audits.
Educate customers regarding identity fraud, phishing scams, etc., and that the bank will never ask for confidential information via text, email, etc.
Monitor, review and complete all CTRs for the branch daily. Ensure submitted by deadline.
Balance vault. Responsible for vault transactions between vault and tellers.
Order branch supplies.
Assist with the professional appearance of the inside and outside of the Branch. Report to the Facilities Manager of any maintenance, landscaping, or housekeeping needs.
Promote a positive image for PointBank in the community.
Attend all meetings and complete all training required to ensure regulatory compliance.
Comply with all applicable Federal and State regulations and guidance associated with the performance of your job function.
Comply with all applicable BSA/AML/OFAC policies and procedures associated with the performance of your job function, including participation in required training and identifications of suspicious activity.
Responsible for making suggestions to improve branch/departmental operations and overall bank.
Perform other duties and assignments within the bank at Management's request; accept periodic cross-training, works in other branches if needed.
