Job description

Staff Management Group is seeking a Dispatcher for our client in Edison, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule

  • 1st shift: 7AM - 3:30PM
  • Monday - Friday
  • Plus overtime

Pay Rate

  • $24 / hour

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced B2B Dispatch Lead to coordinate daily dispatchand shipping operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have strongcommunication and computer skills, leadership abilities, and experience with inventory control.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee daily B2B dispatch and shipping activities.
  • Monitor orders and ensure accurate and timely shipments.
  • Run operational reports and communicate updates to upper management.
  • Assist with inventory control and maintain accurate records.
  • Train and support team members as needed.
  • Identify and resolve shipping, inventory, and operational issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and data within company systems.
  • Work effectively under pressure while meeting daily deadlines.
  • Ensure established procedures and operational standards are followed.

Job Requirements

  • MUST be bilingual - English AND Spanish
  • Previous dispatch, shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations experience.
  • Inventory control experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Computer proficiency and ability to work with operational reports.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Leadership experience and ability to train employees.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends as needed.
