Job description

We are looking to add an additional physician or nurse practitioner to our well established Gastroenterology Clinics in Clermont. and are in need of a physician or NP who is interested in working in a gastroenterology setting. We are a high-volume Practice.The candidate hired for this position will be working with 3 other physicians as well as our office staff as a part of a close-knit team.
Strong interpersonal skills are required as well as board certification at the time that employment begins. This is an outpatient-only setting working Monday through Friday at one office clinic site.Working collaboratively as a member of the medical Staff, the APRN will play a critical role in our office as he or she will be assisting the providers.
Qualifications
•Strong interpersonal skills are required as well as board certification at the time that employment begins.
•Current unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
•Certified APRN Certificate unless you are a fresh graduate (Required)
•Compassion to provide quality, safe and excellent care

Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent patient care in an outpatient-only setting, Monday through Friday, at our office clinic site.
  • Collaborate closely with the medical staff, playing a critical role in assisting the providers.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with administrators and staff throughout the designated building.
  • Utilize training and resources provided by South Lake Gastroenterology to work independently, see patients, and treat medical conditions.
  • Communicate effectively with facility Administrator, attending physicians, and nursing staff to ensure the delivery of the highest level of care.
  • Provide guidance and support to family members, offering counseling on treatment options during significant changes in patient status.
  • Demonstrate empathy and respect towards patients, colleagues, and other individuals within the workplace.
