We are a home health agency providing care and support to adults with disabilities through the Texas CLASS (Community Living Assistance and Support Services) Waiver Program. Our mission is to help individuals live as independently as possible while receiving high-quality, person-centered services in their homes and communities. Position Summary

The Billing & Administrative Assistant will work closely with the Billing Supervisor, Administrator, and Alternate Administrator to ensure efficient office operations, accurate billing processes, and excellent support for staff, patients, and referral sources.

ResponsibilitiesBilling Duties
  • Process Electronic Visit Verification (EVV), Therapy, and other Services.
  • Assist the Billing Supervisor with all billing-related functions.
  • Verify documentation and ensure billing accuracy and compliance.
  • Follow up on billing issues and assist with claim resolution.
  • Maintain organized billing records and reports.
Administrative Duties
  • Assist the Administrator and Alternate Administrator with daily operations.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing faxes and other communications.
  • Provide administrative support for Human Resources functions.
  • Assist with general office tasks and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
  • Previous healthcare, home health, medical billing, or administrative experience preferred.
  • Experience with Medicaid billing is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
