Job Description Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Medical Billing Supervisor to lead a team responsible for accounts receivable and insurance follow-up operations. This role oversees daily workflows, ensures compliance with healthcare regulations, and drives performance to meet productivity and quality goals. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily AR and insurance follow-up operations Assign and monitor team workloads to meet productivity and quality standards Perform production and quality audits to ensure accuracy and compliance Manage escalations and ensure timely resolution of billing and claims issues Create and maintain reports to track team performance and AR metrics Ensure compliance with Medicare guidelines and healthcare regulations Assist with payer fee schedule loading and auditing Develop, update, and maintain departmental policies and workflows Conduct performance evaluations and support staff development Collaborate with leadership to improve processes and operational efficiency Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in medical claims and accounts receivable 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience Strong knowledge of Medicare guidelines and healthcare claims regulations Experience working in a healthcare AR or revenue cycle environment Familiarity with EMR systems and billing platforms Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree (or equivalent relevant experience) Experience improving workflows and implementing process changes Knowledge of payer contracts and fee schedules Work Environment Office-based role with standard business equipment Occasional travel to medical offices may be required.
