Position Profile

Reports To: Service Manager

FLSA Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Summary

The Assistant Service Manager supports all aspects of the service department at ERIK'S, working closely with the Service Manager to ensure operational excellence, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and maintain a high-performing service team. This role helps lead daily operations, supports staff development, and upholds ERIK'S service standards

Additional Responsibilities

To successfully host the party, every retail team member must remain flexible to meet both customer and store needs. Regardless of your primary responsibilities, you are expected to step in and support wherever needed to drive the overall success of the business.

Qualifications

  • Proven success as a bicycle mechanic.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities-both verbal and written.
  • Customer-first mindset with excellent service skills.
  • Leadership capabilities to inspire, guide, and support a high-performing team.
  • In-depth knowledge of bicycle repair and maintenance.
  • Proficiency with technology and computer systems.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • High personal accountability and a results-driven approach.

Working Conditions

  • Ability to stand and move throughout the store for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and handle up to 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment.
