McKinney School of Law Location Indianapolis Position Summary INDIANA UNIVERSITY ROBERT H. MCKINNEY SCHOOL OF LAW invites applications from entry-level candidates (with 0-5 years experience) for full-time, tenure-track faculty positions teaching the required first-year Legal Communication and Analysis course during the 2027-28 academic year. The workload will be 40% teaching, 40% scholarship, and 20% service.

Basic Qualifications Applicants must hold a J.D. or equivalent degree with a record of academic excellence. We seek candidates with potential for or a record of innovative scholarship and engaged teaching. A recent scholarly publication or substantial work in progress is expected to evince scholarly aptitude and commitment. A judicial clerkship or practice experience with significant writing experience is strongly encouraged. Teaching experience is a plus.
