Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on, customer-focused Branch Manager to lead the daily operations of our retail Lewisville branch while driving new business and building strong client relationships.

This role is responsible for managing branch performance, developing new business opportunities, and ensuring a high level of service and professionalism for every customer interaction. The ideal candidate brings a balance of leadership, operational knowledge, and a strong commitment to customer experience.

What You’ll Do

Lead Branch Operations

• Oversee daily branch operations including end-of-day processes, balancing, and audits of teller drawers and vaults
• Order and manage branch cash levels
• Open and maintain deposit accounts and assist with loan processing
• Ensure operational accuracy, efficiency, and compliance

Support & Lead the Team

• Serve as Teller Supervisor, providing approvals and guidance
• Assist with employee training and development
• Conduct performance reviews and address employee concerns as needed
• Foster a professional, team-oriented environment

Drive Business Development

• Identify, recruit, and retain profitable customers
• Promote and cross-sell deposit products including CD’s, IRA’s, and consumer loans
• Build relationships with both new and existing customers to grow the branch

Deliver Exceptional Customer Service

• Respond to customer inquiries in person and by phone
• Assist with account questions, transactions, and service requests
• Address customer concerns and ensure timely resolution
• Refer customers to appropriate specialists when needed

Handle Transactions & Account Support

• Process deposits, withdrawals, wires, and other transactions accurately
• Verify documentation and ensure proper endorsements
• Assist with account maintenance and updates

Support Lending Activities

• Interview consumer loan applicants
• Collect and organize documentation for loan files

Resolve Electronic Banking Issues

• Assist customers with debit card inquiries, reissues, and PIN resets
• Handle ATM and debit card disputes

Ensure Compliance & Risk Management

• Approve daily NSF items in accordance with bank policy
• Maintain compliance with all internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Properly document any exceptions

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good personal credit history
  • 5+ years of experience in a financial institution
  • Experience with lending and new accounts

• Solid math and clerical abilities
