Hiring Pay Range: $127,920.00 - $198,640.00

  • The hiring pay range for this position is commensurate with the level of relevant experience and education.

Summary

  • Manages and directs the Bank toward its primary objectives, based on profit and return on capital. Responsible for overall implementation and management of branch objectives, policies, and strategic plans. Provides leadership for assigned divisions. This role will support across the the Northern Colorado Region and office out of the Boulder branch.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing new business and the maintenance of existing customer relationships.
  • Represents the bank and provides leadership in key community activities, including business, charitable, non-profit, civic, and social organizations to maintain a proper responsible citizen stature for the bank.
  • Provides direct guidance of personnel activities, which affect the key bank management team, including salary administration, incentive, and department performance objectives, to ensure solid team efforts toward the attainment of established goals.
  • Oversees operations of the bank and assigned divisions through comparison of operating results with established objectives; ensures that measures are taken to correct unsatisfactory results.
  • Provides direct supervision of bank staff. Responsible for hiring, development, performance review and disciplinary counseling of those employees.
  • Dispenses advice, guidance, direction and authorization to carry out major plans and procedures, consistent with established bank policies and senior management approval.
  • Assists with the establishment of current and long-range objectives, plans and policies of the assigned bank, as directed and approved by senior management.
  • Identifies opportunities for growth, development, and develops strategic plans for the assigned bank to reach these goals.
  • Services the credit needs of customers and prospects; obtaining financial and other information; performing or coordinating credit analysis; making loan presentations and recommending approval to Bank Loan Committee where required; and negotiating terms and conditions such as rates, collateral, guarantees, loan agreements, and other documentation.
  • Applying ongoing administration and review of the credit until ultimate collection, including ongoing monitoring and grading of credit.
  • Detecting potential problems and applying techniques of problem loan administration.
  • Although Loan Committee review may be required prior to approval of certain loans, a high degree of reliance is placed on the judgment of the loan officer. Regardless of the need for committee approval, the loan officer is fully responsible for the loan.
  • Responsible for daily management of a commercial loan portfolio, including, but not limited to, credit quality; compliance with the bank's policies and procedures, and applicable laws and regulations; and management of past due loan status. The overall portfolio may include consumer credits as well.
  • Acting as relationship manager for assigned customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and the resolution of service problems for all bank products.
  • Expanding customer base through networking and sales calling. Soliciting the business of non-borrowing customers as well as loan customers. Maintaining product knowledge to generate credit, deposit, and fee business.
  • Coordinates lending activities through guidance and direction of senior management in lending departments.
  • This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008.
  • Maintains consistent compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements, banking regulations, and bank policies and procedures related to the position.
  • Employs strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage shifting priorities, demands and timelines.
  • Ability to travel and work non-standard and/or flexible hours, as needed.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience

Senior Vice President Officer

  • 5+ years of management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • NMLS License Required.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in related field preferred.
