Job description

Description
The Personal Banker is responsible for generating business and deepening relationships by promoting products and services to potential and existing customers. Responsibilities include providing high quality customer service while achieving sales goals and supporting banking center staff as needed.
Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Greet customers and facilitate a welcoming and customer- focused environment
  • Provide extraordinary customer service while achieving goals and supporting the banking center staff as needed
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers to help identify financial products and services that meet their needs
  • Promote financial products and services
  • Open deposit accounts and take loan applications, process consumer loan/credit line requests for customers
  • Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a balanced cash drawer and adhering to internal controls and procedures
  • Generate new business and expand relationships with current customers through networking and Centers of Influence
  • Respond to customer inquiries and concerns and create positive solutions
  • Support other employees as needed

Required Skills:
  • Minimum of one year successful sales experience in an incentive-driven or relational selling environment; demonstrated performance in meeting and exceeding goals
  • Minimum of 6 months of cash handling experience in a retail sales environment
  • Ability to generate referrals including making on-site visits with local businesses
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member and with customers.
  • Strong work ethic and high integrity
  • Proficient with all Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel etc.)
  • Friendly, outgoing, assertive, confident, and enthusiastic personality
  • Must have a current Notary or be willing to become one (pursue application, bond and notary seal) at the Bank's expense

Preferred Skills:
  • Successful sales record in a retail banking environment; with knowledge of bank services and products.
  • Bilingual (fluent verbal and written Spanish) skills

Salary Range: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour. Compensation is aligned to experience and skills. Benefits: The bank offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage; paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave; and 401(K) plan. Hours of paid leave may vary based on position. This position is expected to be posted through October 1, 2026. If the position has not been filled by the expected date, the date may be extended and will be updated on the job posting.
